Teachers from around the state came together in Philadelphia this week at TeacherCon, a computer science curriculum training conference hosted by Code.org. Counties represented included Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Cecil, Charles, Frederick, Montgomery, Prince George's, and St. Mary's. Teachers will be bringing back a new Code.org introductory computer science curriculum, CS Discoveries, for students in grades 6th-9th. High school teachers in attendance will be bringing back Code.org's CS Principles, a new advanced placement computer science course that was first introduced last year.
